Strawberries
The strawberry season is from the beginning of Spring until the end of summer. With cream or red wine or as jam, the strawberry is irresistible.
Nutritional advantages

La Ciflorette

It is an early variety not much eaten in France. Red orangy it offers a juicy and tasty flesh. Do not hesitate anymore.
La Charlotte
Available from June to the first frosts
This is a reviver variety and its gives fruits several times a year.
With a long heart shape and a red color, its flesh is tasty, little sweet and woods flavour.
La Gariguette
Available from March to mid June.
This is an early variety, widely-cultivated in France. Cultivated in Lot et Garonne, Britany, Midi Pyrenées and Sologne it is the sign of the spring back. Wit its medium long size, reddish-orange in colour, it has a tender flesh and is very juicy, with well-balanced acidity. Its flavorremains incomparable and it is enough to look at it ) to want to crunch it, nature or just with a little cream. Because the gariguette is the queen of the strawberries.
La mara des Bois
Available from May to the first frosts
It is one of the most popular varieties with the Gariguette thanks to is tasty flesh. Long and bright red it’s a very flavour reviver variety and high quality fruit that made of it the number one of in the strawberries fields.
Kiwis
Kiwi name comes from the New Zealand bird and replaced the name of Chinese gooseberries.
Nutritional advantages
Kiwi contains twice as much vitamin C as oranges and also B1, B2, B3, B5, B6 and E.
It produces 47 kilocalories -196 Kj) per 100g, similar to the melon, clementine and apricot. They are richer than bananas in potassium and have high magnesium content. It also contains iron, copper, phosphorus and zinc, and are highly anti-oxidant: twice as much as oranges. The kiwi makes part of the more antioxidant fruits. Kiwi is the fruit of Health and Vitality and it is an excellent source of C vitamin (twice more than the orange).
With 80mg for 100g, kiwis bring all our daily needs in C vitamins (mg for adults and 60mg for Childs). It’s the fruit number 1. Moreover, kiwi is very poor in lipids and little calorific. It’s also a high recommended fruit to help the body to defend itself against the viral attacks and help itself go over a fatigue period. We also find in the skin an important quantity of A and P vitamins as some potassium.

Le Kiwi Summer
An early variety with green flesh as the Hayward, picked from mid-September in France, it proposes a very interesting rate of sugar with 11 brix at the beginning of October. Do not hesitate.
Le Kiwi Bio
A 100% French production from Lot et Garonne (South-West of France). Organic Labelled. Available until may. Controlled without sanitary residue

Comperatively to regular kiwis, organic kiwis have more vitamins C, minerals and polyphenols, wich are beneficials elements for health. Moreover they have antioxidants properties contributing to fight cancers and cardiovascular diseases.
According to searchers, antioxidant activity of organic kiwis is 27% bigger than regular ones. Indeed, without fertilizer or pesticides the fruit develops its own biological defense by producing for exemple antioxidants and by increasing the thickness of the fruit skin. So, the fruit protects naturally its flesh against insects.
Yellow-Fleshed Kiwi
With same shape and season as the Hayward, it’s a smooth-skinned variety, very sweet with a high rate of vitamins. It can be kept until January and its exotic flavour and smooth-skin make it popular with children.
Plums

Reine Claude of Oullins
The most precocious plum with big green and yellow color, it is very juicy, has a good taste and sweetly sugared. You may appreciate it in the middle of August.
Reine Claude Diaphane
Yellow plum with pink dots; it is a south-west variety, with a fine and juicy flesh which give an fondant aspect in mouth. It is very sugared and perfumed. To be consumed in August.
Green or Gold Reine Claude
It is a small yellow-green plum, very juicy and good perfume that will surprise you thank to its sweet flavor. Smaller than the Gold Reine Claude, this plum is juicy and it used for dessert, marmalade or pies. The harvest is made in August and fruits can be stored until October.
Reine Claude Bavay
This late variety proposes you big fruits, yellow and greenish, with juicy flesh, sugared and very perfumed. It is mature in September.

Golden Japan
Plum with big caliber, shiny yellow and with yellow flesh. It has a good gustative quality. Available on markets at the end of July.
Anna gold
Plum with yellow-green color and red faces, acidy with 14% of sugar. To be degusted it in August.
TC Sun
Called apricot-plum, it is fleshy and with an orange-yellow color when it is mature. His flesh is juicy, sugary and crispy. Presents on market in September.

Melons
A juicy and sunny fruit. For starter or for dessert, with ham or others fruits. It's the king of summer fruits.
Nutritional advantages
The melon is the king summer fruit. Filled with water, it has only an energy average value of 48 kcal for 100 g, or 60 kcal for a portion of 130 g. It possesses stimulating appetite and refreshing virtues, while easily digestible in end of meal. Melons contain various antioxidants, mainly carotenoids, which give it its orangy color.
With the mango and the apricot, it is the fruit supplying most provitamin A (remarkable by the orangy color of the flesh). This provitamin, also called carotene, helps to fight against the ageing of cells and is an excellent antioxidant. 100 g of melon cover approximately half of the contribution recommended in provitamin A. The melon is constituted for 90 % of water, rich in numerous types of minerals and in trace elements.
The potassium dominates widely, where from the diuretic properties of the melon. The melon is also rich in vitamin C which is necessary for the production of the collagen and for the healing, it is also the good antioxidant which strengthens the action of carotene. Varying in colour from yellow to green with yellowish to white flesh, these are very sweet and fragrant.
Apples
The First in the French ranking, it’s the third fruit more consumed in the World.
Nutritional advantages
Apples are rich in C vitamins present both in the flesh but also in the skin because this one contains four – five times more this vitamin than the rest of the fruit.
Better to crunch the apple with its skin after cleaning. Other vitamins contained in the apple, B1, B2, PP, B5, B6, B9, provitamin Aet vitamin E also contribute making this fruit a real vitality alphabet.
The apples also contains pectin (mainly in its pips). The frost indeed by the pectin imprisons fats, helping this way regulate the rate of cholesterol. In Limousin it is recognized in 2005 by a PROTECTED DESIGNATION OF ORIGIN which advocates its quality, it is today the only apple of Franceto have obtained this prestigious distinction.
La Gala
Avaible from September to May
With its fruity flavor, it is a firm, juicy and very crunchy very sweet apple. It is very tonic ! Lively red on the exposed sun face, it is on the second step of the podium for the French production. It is excellent floods but also fried, in doughnuts or grilled.
La Braeburn
From November to April
With its taste slightly acid and sweetened it is very crunchy and juicy. It plays in the big league with Gala and Granny. It was born on the hill Braeburn in New Zealand in 1950, where today it represents about 40 % of the national production.
La Reine des reinettes
Available from August to October
Crunchy, slightly acidulated, sweet with aroma of honey and walnut, it has everything to be pleasant and especially in Tatin pies. Yellow fruits are orange-colored red.
La Granny Smith
From October to April
Slightly acid and crunchy, but also refreshing, firm and juicy. On the third step of the podium at the level of the French production. Regarding its creation, we tell that Mrs Smith returned a market day of Sydney by transporting her shopping in an old box at the bottom of which an old apple core was lying in. She(it) threw(cast) him(it) in a corner(place) of her(its) ground. An apple tree grew and in 1868, she(it) obtained the first apples Granny-Smith !
La Red delicious

La Fuji

La Reinette grise du Canada

A large, rough-skinned russet, this late variety is a tangy and deliciously-scented apple with a characteristic flavour, the best variety for baking and stewing.
Chanteclerc
From November to April
Also known as BELCHARD, it has a firm and creamy flesh and it’s very tasty. It is well ranked in the degustation both cooked or flood. A descendant of Golden Delicious, it is yellow mottled with pink, and has a slightly rough skin.
It’s the 60′ Rouquette company is born during the 60’. Mrs Rouquette with the help of her sons launched a business in the Fruits and Vegetables sector providing neighbour shops and markets.
Between the 70′ and 80′ Robert Rouquette the youngest sons managed the business and developed a wholesale activity on the Beziers market.
The 80′ are key fr the company and Mr Rouquette moved to the Quercy area with his young family. From this, the company will grow importantly by diversifying the products and increasing the volumes helped by producers.
Dominique Rouquette, the elder of Robert Rouquette’s sons becomes the manager of a modern and a high performance packing house.
The 90′ marked a new change for the Company, Robert Rouquette helped with his two others sons decide to dynamize the company..
1993Bruno Rouquette bought SAPA, a packing house specialized in strawberries in Aiguillon (Lot et Garonne) a main truck farming area
1995building up of the sales department : Laurent Rouquette 20 years old at this time builed a modern trade politic and organize the sales department.
1996buying of the Moissagaise Fruitiere a strategic buying to settle the company in the heart of chasselas grapes and plums area.
1997Creation of the Rouquette Group.
The years 2000 are very important for the production organization and certificates obtaining.
2003creation of the SCEA Philadelphie. Today Philadelphie is dealing with 250 hectares of melons and is preparing development on new varieties.
