The fresh fruit and vegetable sector offers a wide range of products coming mainly from the South-Pontine Areas and from Sicily. The freshness and quality of our products is guaranteed through a large number of local sellers who are able to deliver the goods in a very short time. Italfrutta is situated in the center of Italy, in a production area. This strategic position allows to find products and distribute them all over Italy in 12-24 hours. The synergy with the producers is our added value together with the full availability of seasonal produce both local and foreign.

Tradition meets innovation
Italfrutta di Manno, leader in the import-export of fruit and vegetables, has been a point of reference for the territory for over 30 years. The company is managed by the three founders, the brothers Primo, Secondo and Salvatore di Manno, and their respective children. A team of young entrepreneurs who, continuing the activity of the parents, have innovated and perfected the work processes. Research, development and advanced equipment, but also experience and dedication: it is thanks to the merger of the two generations that the company has been able to build its success. Founded in 1984, today Italfrutta di Manno has 60 employees and produces an annual turnover of 50 million Euro.

Respect for the environment
The company is growing responsibly, and as a matter of fact Italfrutta di Manno has chosen to use precious non-polluting sources of energy. The company has three photovoltaic systems which cover 13,000 square metres of the premises located in via Diversivo Acquachiara (198 and 196,5 kw) and via Appia (119,14kw) in Fondi. Italfrutta di Manno really believes in responsible investments and it is engaged in a steady growth.

Technology

Advanced machinery and equipment
Italfrutta di Manno owns advanced machinery and equipment which allow storage, processing and preservation in suitable and extremely functional areas. The company has special advanced refrigerating systems for the ripening of bananas which guarantee a large quantity of goods ready for delivery. The most important and recently introduced technology concerns the processing and packing of kiwi, an advanced system which enables us to meet our customers’ demand.
