NOVOFRUCT is one of the largest canning factories in the Slovak market.

Major international player

We have been on the market since 1975, and during that time we have become a major player in Slovakia, but also in many other countries where we supply our products (e.g. Poland, Bulgaria and the Netherlands, but also China, Mongolia, and many other countries).

Baby food

Our portfolio is currently dominated by baby food products (you are surely familiar with the OVKO brand) and fruit-purée-based products, e.g. under the DayUp brand.

Canned vegetables

In addition, we continue to produce and distribute canned vegetables, and under the NOVOFRUCT brand you can also find the very popular “Utopence”.

In addition, we adhere to a strict internal Food safety policy.

NOVOFRUCT SK, s.r.o. is a holder of the IFS Food (International Food Standard) v.7 certificate. The IFS Food Standard is a GFSI (Global Food Safety Initiative) recognised standard. The focus is on food safety and the quality of processes and products.

HACCP refers to Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points system. It is an essential tool for preventing food safety risks.

NATURALIS SK, organic agriculture – refers to plant or animal products produced via organic farming. These are organic products that comply with all regulations of the Act on Organic Agriculture and the Decree of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development of the Slovak Republic and are subject to regular inspection at every stage. The label is controlled by NATURALIS SK, which also issues the certificates.

SK-BIO-002 – EU/non-EU agriculture refers to the place of agricultural production of the agricultural raw materials of which the product is composed.

NOVOFRUCT SK, s.r.o. has obtained the veterinary approval number SK 625 ES assigned by the State Veterinary and Food Administration of the Slovak Republic, which means that the company is an approved establishment to export products to the EU.

The right to use the quality label logo, which denotes high-quality Slovak products and is granted by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development of the Slovak Republic, is also significant.
