Flower honey

Flower and forest honey is produced from the nectar of spring plants and mountain wildflowers. It is usually light in color and its aroma is floral. The taste and aroma may vary from year to year, depending on the type of flowering that predominates. Flower honey has the softest and “sweetest” taste of all Greek honeys. It helps in the good functioning of digestion, gives energy and endurance, regulates intestinal function, strengthens the function of the liver.

Pine honey

comes from honeydew secretions. It is not particularly sweet so it tastes good. It is rich in trace elements, proteins and amino acids. Its sugar concentration is slightly lower than other honeys (e.g. flower or thyme), but what distinguishes it is that it never crystallizes, because it has a very low glucose content, below 30%, even after years.

Blooms May-June. Its amber color, unique taste and distinct aroma are the qualities for which it is considered the king of honeys. Thyme honey has tonic and antiseptic properties, while medical studies have shown that a small amount of honey helps the human stomach to break down any kind of food. Recent research correlates it with delaying the growth of cancer cells.
